Harris to start ‘more aggressive’ post-debate campaigning phase, campaign declares

Kamala Harris's campaign described the Vice presidential debate campaign visits to North Carolina and Pennsylvania on Thursday and Friday respectively, as the beginning of the “aggressive” campaigning phase.

Harris is expecting to conduct two rallies in North Carolina and one rally in Pennsylvania as part of the initiation of her “New Way Forward tour” According to Harris’ campaign, it aims at capitalizing on “her resounding triumph for triumph over the then President Donald Trump during the ABC News debate.

The campaign reported that Harris had such a ‘commanding debate performance’ that they reviewed the footage on Wednesday as they tried to compile moments to use in future advertisements in the coming days.

More media activity will also be done in this phase which includes targeting more airtime with the vice president mostly to the swing states and other critical audiences which the campaign team plans to interview locally in the next few days. She will also join a discussion with NAACP Black Journalists next week.

Also joining the tour will be the second gentleman Doug Emhoff, Governor Tim Walz, and First Lady Gwen Walz.

Emhoff will be present in Arizona and Nevada on Thursday; Governor Walz will be in Michigan on Thursday and Wisconsin on Friday; the First Lady in New Hampshire on Thursday.

New surrogate events included in the campaign’s tour include a Republicans for Harris in Phoenix Arizona, an HBCU University students event in Savannah Georgia, and an event for military families and veterans in Columbus Georgia.
